AIRBORNE STRATEGY & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

QUANTITATIVE PROOF OF
PERFORMANCE

Tactien helps critical infrastructure operators understand Counter-UAS (CUAS) technology, build UAS response policy, validate vendor technology, and commission programs.

THE PROBLEM

The CUAS market moves fast.
The stakes don't allow for guesswork.

Without the right framework, organizations risk bad investments, uncovered gaps, and systems that under-perform when it matters.

THE FRAMEWORK

A framework, not a formula

CUAS program needs vary from site-to-site/org-to-org. What follows is the framework Tactien typically runs, built from real program stand-ups across the critical infrastructure sector. Some clients need the full sequence. Others already know their vendor shortlist and just need independent testing. We scope to your risk profile and your budget.

VETTING & VALIDATION

BLIND RED-TEAMING & SCORING

Tactien runs blind red-team testing on our own terms. Vendors don't know the aircraft type, flight path, frequency, or timing before a test begins. We fly varying altitudes, speeds, times of day, and multi-aircraft scenarios, including night operations and swarm profiles, capable of using Group 1 through Group 3 platforms and, when needed, manned aircraft.

Aircraft GPS telemetry is the independent control. Every vendor's detection output is cross-referenced against Tactien-verified flight logs, eliminating vendor self-reporting bias. Their system either performs, or it doesn't. There's no room for a controlled-environment demo to stand in for real performance.

KPI dashboard comparing two counter-UAS vendors' detection performance on a single test flight, showing probability of detection, track continuity, track accuracy, classification, and Remote ID results, with Vendor 2 outperforming on track accuracy and Vendor 1 outperforming on detection and continuity.
3D GIS map comparing counter-UAS vendor detection accuracy against actual drone flight telemetry, showing red actual flight track versus green Vendor 1 and orange Vendor 2 detected tracks with visible tracking discrepancies.
